This chicken's name is Biscuit (shortened from Biscuits and Gravy). We have 9 chicks and they have been fun to raise so far.

She will be a pretty girl when she is grown! We only have one hen at home, and she hatched all of our turkey eggs, she looks so funny with her turkey 'babies' that are twice her size!

Absolutely love her name, but because of the meaning you mention behind it, I can't help but wonder if Biscuit is going to end up being served with gravy. ;-) LOL!
Biscuits ended up being a boy. He's still hanging around. The kids love hi, he's not as nasty as the other boys can be, yet. They are fun to watch though! Unfortunately we lost one of our 9 chicks today.
