I have found the easiest way to make any kind of yeast bread is to use your bread machine and put in ingredients according to the order it says in instructions. For instance, mine says that I put in all liquid ingredients first. Then set it on 'DOUGH" cycle. That does half your work. Then you just need to shape the rolls and let rise again and bake.

Cover and let rise 1 1/2 hours at room temperature. Put on floured board and knead 1 minute. Make out in rolls and place in greased pan. Cover with tea towel and let rise 2-3 hours or more until double in size. Bake at 375 - 400 for 10 minutes.

Makes about 16 rolls depending on how big you make them.
My family loves these rolls!

I would guess you could do the same thing using a stand mixer as well.

I found this recipe today so I have not tried it. Sounds interesting, I'm saving it to try.

"Magic Rolls"

2 cups warm milk
1 package dry yeast
1/3 cup oil
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
4 cups self-rising flour

Beat all together with whisk beater. Mix well.
Cover tightly and keep in refrigerator as needed or
place in greased muffin pans, 2/3 full.
Let set for 15 minutes.
Bake at 425° for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Will keep in refrigerator for 2 weeks or so.
