Mix together sugar, salt, butter, mashed potatoes, eggs, scalded milk. Let mixture stand until lukewarm and add yeast. Mix in flour. Let rise once and roll out. Cut and let rise again and fry in deep fat. Makes 60 doughnuts.
Mix and use for glaze on doughnuts.

This sounds yummy!!! Wonder if it work to cut recipe in half,,also would they freeze well??
