Is the dog always knocking his toys under the entertainment center, bookcase, or sofa, forcing you to get down on all fours to retrieve his lost treasure? If so, consider getting a piece of clear plastic, plexiglas, or lucite and securing it to the bottom of those pieces of furniture, just between the legs. Not only will this save you back strain, but it will work almost invisibly and help you cut down on dust under the furniture!

I've done all sorts of things to keep my dog from rolling his ball under furniture. I took the legs off the sofa, stuffed towels under furniture and then he puts his ball in waste paper baskets, trash cans, etc. He puts it between the refrigerator and the end of the cabinet. He puts it anywhere he can find.
If I leave the door to my bedroom open his puts it in the bathtub. The whole time he barks till I come and get it and it starts all over again. He wants me to get it and roll it to him. There is just too many things to put up so I let him play until I get tired of it and tell him it's time to rest. I know he's spoiled and I give in because I live with a day sleeper and do what I can to minimize the barking.
I was gonna say, there's no need to organize for me, lol, just look under the couch. I like the plexiglass idea.
