You can line your curtains as well by putting together two fabrics of the same size and sewing your rod hole while leaving a 2 inch space at the top for a bit of ruffling.

Good luck if you are still able to buy the single flat sheets without having to buy the whole packaged set. I made drapes from sheets years ago for our 3 bedroom house. But that was at a time when you could mix and match the sheets. Now the manufacturers have gotten wise and are selling them in sets,
