My sofa bed is stuck in the sofa position. The horizontal bar that I formerly could pull out from under the sofa back cushions to release it into a bed is now stuck in the front of the sofa cushions that you lean back on. It won't budge. It is queen sized and has no other problems.

Have you tried lubricating the hinges with WD 40?
Can you get the mattress out? If so, then the sofa frame is easier to turn over to see if you can see what the problem is. THAT is where you want to lubricate, carefully, the place(s) it's sticking or locking up. If it's rusting, it may take a better penetrant, but be careful not to use too much or get any of whatever on the fabric, wiping any residue off, because it may make the bolts unscrew and loosen too much.
