Wait a Week to Use Your Coupons

When you get your coupons, in your local weekend paper (Sat./Sun.), don't use them that week. Nine times out of ten, the coupon item will go on sale 1-2 weeks after the coupon appears in your local paper. This will allow you to save even more money, when you use your coupons.

an if you still dont use them PLEASE send them to the military families overseas..they can use them up to 6 months after they expire. I have been doing this now for over 2 years an the thank you letters are priceless that we get from them..they really do appriciate each an every one of the coupons. its just a small way we all can help our military out.

Hi Odi,
Do you send to specific people or to a general address? If so, what is that general address to send coupons to military families overseas?

You can also check out cutouthunger.org - my local news did a story on them & what they do is keep track of all the coupons for months back, match them up with current sales bills, and then tell you what date & page to find the coupons to save TONS on your groceries - most items end up being free or close to it.

What a great idea to save them for military families - do you have an address or any other information regarding how to do this? Thanks!
