Yummy way to use leftovers to make fried mashed potato patties.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cook potatoes in boiling salted water until very tender. Drain well, mash with butter, add cream cheese, sour cream, onion powder, and garlic powder and mix well; then season with salt and pepper to taste.
Spoon the potatoes into an oiled 8 x 8 inch baking dish, sprinkle with Parmesan to taste and bake, uncovered, for 25 to 35 minutes or until heated through.

Well Deeli, this is a first for me. We've never baked mashed potatoes this way although we often make the "Twice-Baked Potatoes" individually.
