Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 small onion
- 1 can chopped green chilies
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 can pinto beans, drained and rinsed (15oz)
- 1 can lima beans, drained and rinsed (16oz.)
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 pkg. ranch dressing mix
- 1 can hominy, drained (14oz)
- 3 cans stewed tomatoes (14oz. each)
- 1 can red kidney beans, drained, rinsed (15oz.)
- shredded cheddar cheese
- tortilla chips
Directions
Brown ground beef and small onion. Drain any fat off and put in large kettle. Add remaining ingredients (except cheese and tortilla chips); bring to a boil. Then simmer for 30 minutes. Top with shredded cheese and chips.
