So good!
Melt 1 cup butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in confectioners' sugar, peanut butter, and graham cracker crumbs. Spread mixture in jelly roll pan. Pat down evenly.
To make topping, melt together 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup chocolate chips. Spread mixture over peanut butter mixture. Refrigerate 1/2 hour. Cut into square.
Hope you enjoy these! So yummy.

Very simple recipe.
Put chips and peanut butter in saucepan and stir and melt over low heat. Remove from heat.
Add dates and bran flakes. Stir until well coated. Press in a 9x9 inch baking pan lined with wax paper.
Sprinkle with coconut. Chill thoroughly before cutting. Makes 36 squares.
Takes very little time to do and can be made for potluck.
Good cooking.

I want to try this but I don't have dates. Do you suppose the raisins in Raisin Bran would take the place of the dates and be almost as good? (10/22/2008)
