Cheese Ring With Strawberry Preserves

Ingredients:

• 16 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
• 1 cup pecans, chopped
• 3/4 cup mayonnaise
• 1 onion, grated
• 1 garlic clove, pressed

• 1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
• 1 cup strawberry preserves

Directions:

Combine the cheese, pecans, mayonnaise, onions, garlic, and Tabasco in a bowl. Stir to mix well. Shape into a ring on a serving plate. Spoon preserves into the center, and arrange crackers on the outside of the plate. Spread cheese and preserves on the crackers. I made these for Christmas this year and they were begging for more.
