Hoku is a 7 year old black cat. Though we have 8 cats, and love them all dearly, Hoku is my special boy. He'll follow me around the house like a shadow, and will leap up into my arms when asked to. He also gives the best hugs, wrapping his paws around my neck and giving me a good head rub on the cheek.
As you can see, Hoku likes to share my space, even when I'm crocheting. He never goes for my yarn, he just wants to be near, which is fine with me. That's what friends are for!

We're fostering a cat over winter and he likes to supervise the crochet too:) He never goes after the yarn, he just likes to be there to watch, and nap on the growing work, lol!
I have a black cat too, her name is Magic, and she is like my little shadow too! She sits by me when I crochet and tries to play with the hook. Black cats are awesome!
My red tabby cat PNut likes to follow me and supervises everything I do in the tub while I am taking a bath. He so wants to get in but hasnt yet. I have another cat, Jerry, that seems a little less interested in following me around.
Your cat Hoku is so sweet and looks just like Jerry! Aren't they wonderful to have around!
