Directions:
Combine egg yolks, 1/2 cup sugar, and salt. Gradually add hot milk and cook in double boiler until mixture coats spoon. Remove from heat, add gelatin softened in cold milk. Chill until partially set. Fold in egg whites, fruit, whipped cream, and sugar. Pour over angel food cake broken in bits. Chill. You use only 1/2 cake. For bigger batch, double recipe.
