I'm looking for a recipe for pear sauce, made like apple sauce.
Thank you,

Pears are much sweeter than apples. Peel and pare your pears, put in a bowl in the microwave. Add a little lemon juice (to keep the pears from browning) and mix to coat the pears. Cook until soft, put through a blender, then reheat adding enough sugar to sweeten. Just reheat enough to dissolve the sugar crystals. Freeze in potions big enough for your family. (Adding too much sugar and then cooking too long will give you a pear jam.) Of course, taste testing is allowed!
I make pear sauce the same way I do apple sauce. Peel, put through bloender, heat add a little lemon juice, and sweetner if needed, and put in a water bath for 15 to 20 minutes. yummy!
Go to Cooks.com and put pear sauce in the search line.
