- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1-29 oz can tomato sauce
- 1-29 oz kidney beans (with liquid)
- 1-29 oz can pinto beans (with liquid)
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced green chili (about 2 chilies)
- 1/4 cup diced celery
- 3 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 2 tsp. cumin powder
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 cup water
Directions
Brown ground beef over medium heat, drain. Add remaining ingredients and simmer over low heat, stirring about every 15 minutes for 2-3 hours.

Could I put this in the crockpot on low for several hours? I don't have the time or energy to stand and stir something every 15 min. for a couple of HOURS
