This is a very tasty casserole that is also very versatile. Though the recipe calls for corn flakes, I like to use potato chips as well and it's also nice to make it a one-dish meal by adding veggies of your choice.
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. southern style hash browns, thawed
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 cups cubed ham
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
Topping:
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 cups crushed corn flakes
Directions:
Combine together the first 7 ingredients very well and place in 9x13 glass casserole dish. Combine last 3 ingredients for topping and sprinkle on top of casserole. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour 10 minutes.
