New Vinyl Flooring Not Laying Flat?

I need help with my new floor. My husband and I put down vinyl in our kitchen and it is not laying down. We are on a fixed income so there is no way we can hire anyone. Any help would be good. Thanks so much.

Hi Judy,
I don't know if you mean just around the edging, or not.
At hardware stores you can buy double sided tape specially made for sticking vinyl edges to the floor, it comes in different widths also and can be used beneath joins too.
Check in the phonebook and give a few places a call to save the running around.
Good luck!

The new vinyl flooring in my brother's hallway and kitchen was terribly warped but he said new vinyl tends to do that and will flatten on it's own with a little time and it did. Maybe you just need to wait a little.

Jojo, the floor is okay around the edge. It did not stick in the middle. Thanks for your info. Thanks also to perfumed fan.
