My daughter is moving out of an apartment, so she has to clean it. She cannot get the stuck on shampoo off the bottom of the tub, it had a slow drain, it is almost like wax. We have used every bathtub cleaning product. Any suggestions?

Use C.L.R. It has strong fumes so use ventilation and a mask and gloves.
I swear by Greased Lightening it's great! This cleaning product also has strong fumes, so follow the directions as printed on the label. Can be purchased at either Family Dollar or Dollar General. Call the store first.
Have you tried distilled white vinegar? Just heat some to warm and soak a clean rag in it. Place the wet rag over the area to be cleaned. Leave overnight and scrub clean the next day.
Greased lighting! You can also spray it on stains in clothes. Works great! Dollar stores carry it!
I use comet and it does great. also a product called "shock it clean" will clean almost everything.
Have you tried soaking it in very hot water? I would put in the plug and run the hot water or even pour boiling water into the tub and soak. Try scrubbing with a scrub brush or scotch brite pad, something abrasive that won't scratch the tub.
Are you sure it is not bar soap residue? Usually it is shampoo that is used to get bar soap yuck off the tub.
