How do you remove a gray stain from a shampoo bottle left on the shelf of a fiberglass tub?

try using soft scrub with bleach, or the magic eraser.

I've had good luck with the Mr Clean Magic Eraser. Also you might let some Comet cleanser set on the spot for a while. First dampen the area, spinkle the comet and come back later and wipe.

I have had this happen, even on a pink shampoo bottle. I sprayed the foamy 409 spray bathroom cleaner.. let it sit a moment and wipe away. It worked! :)
