Rule of thumb is that 3 tablespoons of tomato paste plus 1 cup of water equals 1 cup of tomato juice. There are 14 tablespoons in 7 ounces of tomato paste so roughly 2 1/3 cups of water is needed to be mixed with 7 ounces of paste to equal 2 1/3 cup of tomato juice.

Jsham, I am glad you posted what you did because I wasn't paying attention and was thinking paste instead of sauce. LOL! ;-)
