If you are slicing cakes for sale and want to have even squares, logs, halves, etc., place a cake cooling rack over the top of your cake pan, before you turn cakes out. Mark or slice through, loosen sides of cake, and turn out when cooled. Maximum pieces and all even without any fuss!
