I am having problems cleaning a pot that has burned cranberry sauce in it. I let the cranberries cook too long. The inside of a Revere pot is now black. How can I clean it?

Have you tried soaking it with full strength vinegar?
Dollar General has a cleaner "Awesome" that is $1.00 a bottle and very effective. I've used it on scorched "eye rings" (elec stove). Be sure to wear gloves, it's very strong, a refill bottle is only $3.00. Hope it works for you.
I have had success in the past with hot water and a fabric softner sheet, letting it soak an hour or two or overnight. Good Luck!
