I've used Spray and Wash spray on my son's clothes. I also recommend trying Dawn dish detergent. I've found that Desitin is hard to get out of fabric and carpet. My son squeezed a tube of it onto the carpet one day. I scraped off what I could and used the Dawn on it. I washed it a couple of times, waiting for it to dry before doing it again. Only if you know where the spot is can you find it.

Can anyone give me ideas of how to clean Desitin off of carpet and clothing.

I ruined my black couch years ago by changing my baby on it. She wiggled away and got Desitin all over the cushion. It would not come off no matter what I tried (sorry). The only advice I can give is that most products offer an 800 number on the package to call. (12/16/2006)
