Scenery: Snow (Arizona)

This picture was taken in January of 2006 in our front yard in Scottsdale, Arizona - where it "never" snows. We heard rain and headed for the windows to take a look since it doesn't rain much either. In a few short seconds the rain turned to gumball size hail. In another 15 seconds, it turned into snow.

I ran into my son's room and told him to put his shoes on and hurry and go outside so I could take a picture of him in the snow. He was shocked and responded, "Snow?!". Shoes went on in record time and my son was outside experiencing snow for the first time in his 13 years. The snow stayed on the ground for about 20 minutes. It was an amazing moment for us sun bunnies.
