Dear June, Have you tried spraying with hair spray? This should loosen the ink and you can either wash as usual or use a sponge with cleaner on it. Sewingmamma

supplies
rubbing alcohol
cotton balls

  • Take alcohol and put some on a cotton ball
  • Use a cotton ball: do not poor alcohol on the animal or the ink will run

  • Do not soak it in the alcohol to where the entire cotton ball is wet or it will also make the ink run also
  • Dab it on the ink stain
  • You may need to rub it in once you get majority of the stain out if it's not all gone

Try on a SMALL spot first

I have had good luck with this technique. It could be that the ink has stained the item too badly to be removed. I hope you are able to find something else that works.
