Light and fluffy, ideal morning or afternoon tea.
Rub butter into flour so goes crumbly. Add milk and mix so like a sticky dough. Put onto floured cutting board and cut into shapes or cut with glass that has been dipped in flour so it doesn't stick.
Glaze with milk before putting in oven.
Cook in hot (390 degrees F.) oven until golden or cooked to the touch.
Serve sliced and buttered or with Jam and whipped cream.
