Removing Leather Dye from Rubber Boots?

I have a pair of beige rubber boots that were next to a pair of black suede boots in a suitcase. The rubber absorbed the black dye. How can I remove it?

Omg! I have this same problem (hence me finding this question) ... off white rain boots next to a black fringe clutch in a suitcase and low and behold! I have bluish fringe marks all over one boot i have tried bleach, a magic eraser and i can't even remember what else... still there! I hope someone can answer this since i kinda love these boots

Hi there I have just dyed some puma suede trainers and it didn't say be careful and avoid getting dye on the rubber soles. Anyway I have found the answer !!! Really I have.

Get some good quality, fine sand paper and gently rub the affected areas. It will definitely remove the dye :) I hope this helps you all. Kind regards from England, Phil
