Cleaning Burnt Sugar from Inside Stove?

I have about 5 pounds of sugar inside my stove. I had a plastic container sitting on the heat escape burner on top of stove. The plastic melted, therefor pouring the sugar down hole to the oven. How do I get the burnt sugar off?
