Some of us may not be familiar with what exactly a 'milk bag' is, what are they made of?
Is this one? home.cogeco.ca/
Yes! Sorry - I didn't realize these weren't a universal item... my bad ;) And of course, our municipal recycling program no longer accepts these bags for recycling. I've had lots of good ideas from other websites... wash and rise for freezing fruit/berries... storing small pieces/parts from the workshop/garage/garden shed...
Why would the government stop recycling the milk bags? After all they are plastic, do they not recycle plastic bags? Too bad they do not have these in the states, my recycling bin would be less full, even with crushing the milk jugs!
Thank you for sharing milk bags with me. I think its a great idea and I'm going to tell the rest of New Jersey.
Oh, and I think washing them out and reusing them as freezer bags is a great idea.
If you are unaware in the UK what is a milk bag, go to this website to find out, and yes, we have now got milk bags in the UK www.sccmilkbags.co.uk
