I have brought a kennel run for my 6month puppy. He seems happy to be in there, but will not poop and wee in the run. Instead he does his wee in the kennel and holds his poop until we are in the grassy part of the garden. How can I make him wee and poop in his run?
Oh, the kennel run is on concrete paving. Please help. I will be grateful for any suggestions!

Surely he is just trying to do what we all do , keep the space he lives in nice and clean! We wouldn't do poops in our living room sounds like a very clever puppy with high personal standards. Perhaps he would go in a dirt box? You could probably train him with praise to use it.

Dogs do not want to do their business where they will be stepping in it later. Even if you pick one spot in the yard, you will "wear" it out eventually until the weather has removed the lingering odors and residue.
