Animals Cracker As Dog Treat

I use animal crackers (unfrosted) for a treat. I break them in half and stash them in a small bag in my pocket. They are not expensive, nor do they have a big odor. We are working on getting Eddie to drop his ball after retrieving it. After a few reminders with a treat he remembers and we then reward him with a snuggle or a 'good boy!

Eddie is a 9 month old American Standard Bulldog mix. He loves to chase and be chased. Exercise is such a necessity with all dogs. We go out for a good session of running each day. Cold weather is not an excuse to forgo outdoor exercise. He needs to run off steam and I really, we really, benefit from being out in the fresh air as well. Yes, it is sometimes very cold. Dress appropriately!
