Directions:
Melt shortening in boiling water. Cool. stir in eggs. Then dry ingredients. Mix. Bake in greased 9x13 inch pan or layer cake pans at 350 degrees. Use toothpick to test for baking time. Frost when cool as desired.

I make this cake several times a year. It is the only cake I have ever made that I will not frost. It doesn't need any frosting.
