Combine first 3 ingredients in a small bowl, mixing well. Set aside. Beat egg whites and salt at high speed of an electric mixer until foamy. Gradually add sugar, 1 Tbsp. at a time, beating until stiff peaks form. Fold in vanilla and crumb mixture. Spread in a well greased 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool at least 3 hours at room temperature. Serve with ice cream.
