Honestly, questions like that should be directed at your doctor or PA. He or she knows your medical history, complications of your specific surgery, etc.

Rarely trust "health" information you find or receive on the internet.

Your doctor would have given you an after care sheet that would give you recommendations for bathing. I think that usually people are asked not to take a bath, sometimes even a shower for a length of time.

A hot tub would be the same, or maybe even longer. I would call or email your doctor or the nurse on call and ask them directly.

I'm not sure what triple surgery is. Maybe triple A surgery. Whichever kind of surgery you had, don't get into the hot tub until your doctor specifically releases you to do so. The hot water will cause blood vessels to dilate and could cause a drop in blood pressure. Also, hot tubs are notorious for causing infections. I would not want a fresh surgical wound in a hot tub. This is coming from a surgical ICU nurse

Do you mean triple bypass surgery? Best to ask your doctor. You can get lightheaded from the heat. Best to ask. You dont want a set back in your recovery.

You need to ask your doctor because only your doctor knows your personal specifics which would also include blood pressure and medications.
