Staining a Painted Surface?

I have a painted surface and want to satin it. Is there a product that will let me do this without a lot of prep?

No,you will have to sand the paint off and then apply a stain of your choosing. Your best bet id to visit a paint store or a big box store for stains and what to put over the stain.
