I have lost a recipe that I found in a magazine at Christmas. It was a 3 layer Jello salad. I remember the first layer was red with pears; I know the other 2 were green and lemon, but I cannot remember how it went. Thanks.

Serves/Makes: 4
Ingredients:
1 large pkg lime jello
1 (2.5 lbs) can pears
1 (6-oz) pkg softened cream cheese
2 tablespoons cream
1 small bottle maraschino cherries
Directions:
Cook jello according to package directions, substituting 1/2 cup liquid from pears for 1/2 cup water. Refrigerate until partially set. Combine cream cheese and cream. Mix until smooth. Stuff each pear with cream cheese mixture. Place a thin layer of jello in bottom of a rectangular glass dish. Place stuffed pear halves in jello. Place a cherry in center of each. Pour remaining jello over pears and refrigerate until firm. Serve on lettuce.
