If you click the link, then scroll down to the comments section, someone was doing research on equipment to buy for their new restaurant. They researched vacuum frying and learned that in order to vacuum fry at home, it would take a lot of room in your kitchen for the equipment, and would cost thousands of dollars. She said it is "commercial-grade only and a fairly complex design."
