Barney is a 1 1/2 year old Registered Black Lab. A friend bred a large litter of pups and sold all but the last 3. She knew that we had lost a golden retriever a while back and felt in her heart that she should give us this puppy. He was 9 weeks old at that time. It was July 2008.
Barney loves his toys. His favorite toy right now is a rubber chicken he got for Christmas. He will fetch anything, as long as you have energy to throw, and is obsessed with tennis balls. We think he has a modeling career on the side because we see pictures of him at all the sporting good stores.
Barney has a great personality and makes us laugh. We have many friends who have met Barney that will ask about him when they see us. Barney brings us a lot of happiness.

Awe, Barney has the sweetest personality! And boy does he love the ladies! When I get to visit "Barney's House" I can be sure to be greeted with lots of licks and a sloppy wet tennis ball dropped at my feet.
