Cajun Chew Bread

Ingredients:

• 1 box ( 1 lb.) brown sugar
• 1 1/2 sticks (3/4 cup) margarine
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1 1/2 cups flour

• 2 cups chopped pecans

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix brown sugar and margarine. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix in flour and baking powder. Mix well. Add pecans. Place in a 9x13 inch pan. Bake exactly 30 minutes; no longer!
