Ingredients:
- 1/2 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/4 cup fine, dry bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 2 Tbsp. thyme
- 1/2 Tbsp. sage
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions:
Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Press into a 9 inch pie pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and spoon off fat. Frost with 2 cups mashed potatoes and 1 can cream of mushroom soup. Top with shredded cheddar cheese. Bake 10 minutes more. Garnish with cooked bacon, if desired. 6 servings.

Ooh, I could make this vegetarian by using soy crumbles instead of ground beef.
