I know we all have been making Rice Krispie Treats forever. Well I have a recipe which is different and delicious! Especially if you are a choc-aholic like me.
Place the first three ingredients in a large microwaveable bowl. Microwave for 1 to 3 minutes on high uncovered, stirring after 1 minute until mixture is melted and smooth when stirred. Add cereal to mixture, stir until well coated.
Press mixture into a greased 13 x 9 inch pan by using the buttered back of a spoon. Immediately make 24 indentations with the handle of a wooden spoon. Press peanut butter cups into indentations. Cool and cut into squares.
It is a good recipe and it is so nice to make in the summer when it is hot and you want something easy with chocolate but you do not want to turn that oven on. They are great for traveling, picnics, anything where you need a quick dessert! If you need to do them over the stove, I would use a double boiler so nothing will burn. Enjoy!

I really loved this recipe. Its a nice option from the regular Rice Krispie squares. I used Cheerios instead and it worked great. It's going into my recipe box. Thanks so much
