I was finally able to capture photos of the resident apartment duck couple in the swimming pool early this morning :-) I adore this photo the most because the female is peeking out from the edge of the pool facing my direction as if saying, 'Peek a Boo!'

While at Niagara Falls watching all the birds, my husband said "Did you just see that duck?" It was so funny I had to get a picture or two. =)

Here is a duck who just had a bath and is now enjoying the sun of 2009 in Austria. There was this small lake near a museum, in Admond, next to a garden with cool flowers. I am going to post some pictures of it if I have time.

Darn! By the time I went back into my apartment to retrieve the camera this morning I missed the photo op of this duck paddling in the swimming pool but was able to get this cute photo of him walking on the roof of the apartment building community center roof just after finishing his dip in the pool.
I really lucked out with this shot because you can see his left foot stepping forward :-)

It was during a real nice afternoon here in Iowa that I happen to see these two visitors walking along our apartment building. I quickly got my camera and walked quietly down to the ground level to get this picture.
I like the lighting on this picture of the two ducks that were paying a visiting near our apartment building. This pair comes by to visit every spring, they don't stay long but they are a welcome site.
