Save Soap Scraps for Children

I have always saved soap scraps and wondered what to do with them. So when I had my son, I figured that because all children love to try to wash themselves in the bath, these little soap slivers are the right size for their hands. It works out great! They feel like a big kid because they have their own soap and can do it themselves. I save the soap scraps in a small plastic bag and store in the bathroom for easy access to get another one when needed. I also keep a full-size bar in soap dish hidden in the bathroom just in case mommy needs to help him on real dirty days.
