Cran-Apple-Pecan Pie

Ingredients
  • 1 cup cranberries (chopped)
  • 2 1/2 cups apples (chopped)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup pecans (chopped)
  • 3 Tbsp. minutes tapioca
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • Pie dough for 2 crust, 9 inch pie
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • Granulated sugar and cinnamon

Directions

Combine first 7-8 ingredients. Let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes or overnight in refrigerator. Construct the pie in pan. Brush the top of the pie with beaten egg. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 425 degrees F for 25 minutes. Turn down to 350 degrees and bake another 50 minutes.
