How does a person stop a brush turkey from building a nest in one's yard?

Not sure it would work since the Australian bush turkey isn't related to the American version but if it is like most birds. If you go out daily and kick apart the nest they will give up and go elsewhere. I would be interested to know if it works, it did on a wild turkey I had that was determined to build her nest under our deck. Which wouldn't have bothered me but she would peck anyone coming down the steps and since it was the front of the trailer. it was used a lot.
