Use to use a Suave anti-aging product from Wal-Mart (Age Defense, maybe), containing Alpha-Hydroxy. It removed a brown spot from my face completely. I can't find it anymore and now have another big brown spot. What can I use? I'm getting the brown spots on my forearms now and would like to remove those as well. Thanks

Go to Amazon.com to purchase Alpha Hydroxy. It is also available at Ulta Stores.

A year ago I started getting a lot of age spots. Also my neck was getting old looking. I started to use Wal-Mart's Equate brand apricot scrub on my neck & face everyday. I use a nail brush on my arms & sometimes - lightly on my neck. I also try to massage my neck during the day.
Have you tried Porcelana. It contains Hydroquinone. I got it at Walmart as well. It works ok sure has not erased spots but I am not that faithfull in applying either. Good Luck
I have not tried this yet but if someone does before I do, please let everyone know how it works.

Alpha hydroxy works by exfoliating the skin; that is, causing the surface skin cells to slough off, revealing newer, less damaged skin cells beneath.
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup apple juice
1/4 cup grape juice
1/4 cup cane sugar
Blend all ingredients in a glass jar, making sure sugar has dissolved. Apply to your face with a cotton ball, and leave on for 10 minutes before rinsing off.
The mixture will keep for up to four days in the refrigerator.
Sorry, but I thought you were looking for the brand:
Alpha Hydrox, which they used to sell at regular drugstores.
But I did find it online at Drugstore.com and there is also a link to the Alpha Hydrox 'store' where you can see the other things they offer.
Did you ever try to email Suave and ask them if they even make it anymore?
If you want to send me the name of the product I will email Suave with their answer under this particular heading.
:)
I emailed Suave and they wrote back to tell me they don't make it anymore - sorry for the bad news.
