Landlord used toilet anchor bolts about 2 inches too long. Ugly. So I tried to make the situation appear 'planned', instead of being a mistake.

For all those people who have lost loved ones in our many wars, or who have a son, daughter, husband, wife, relative currently in harms way. I pray they never see your bathroom! There are some people who may think america is going into the toilet, perhaps you are one of them? What the heck were you thinking, or not?

I think putting the American flag anywhere on a toilet is in bad taste. It's a good Idea if you can find a funny flag or perhaps one of those little umbrellas they put in some drinks.
