Does anyone have a recipe for condensed milk that does not use powdered milk or any dairy based product? My son is allergic to cow's milk, soy milk, and almond milk. I need a substitute like rice milk or something else that is not dairy based.

I would suggest Googling Rice Milk Dangers before accepting a rice milk recipe and ask your son's pediatrician for more information. I don't know about using powdered non-dairy creamer in every recipe that usually requires a milk product but you could probably find a way to make a milk substitute from it for some recipes.
I think you can use any nut to make butter, just like making your own peanut butter. Add a little water to make it liquid. You can also make milk from oatmeal or potatoes. Also see Lil's Dietary Shop website in Chicago. They sell Vance's DariFree dry powder, makes 6 qts. for $11, made from potatoes.
Good luck. I know it's not easy. You sound like a good mom.
Is it just cow's milk? My nephew was allergic to cow's milk, but did great on goat milk. Might be worth a try. You can now buy canned goat's milk and sometimes even find it fresh in your dairy case.
