What kind of borax should I use in Ted's dog mange remedy? Is it OK if I use borax flux, the one that is being used in welding.

I have a feeling this might be a 'let's mess with people' question but in case it isn't and you want to try the correspondent, Ted from Bankok, remedy then use the 20 Mule Team Laundry Powder that you can find in just about every single grocery store in the laundry isle. I know borax is used for welding but I have no clue if that borax is the same or might have unsafe additives that might harm your pet so why risk it?
Borax is poisonous and should not be used around pets. After all, it's used to kill fleas and roaches. Please see a vet or go online to Drs Foster and Smith, Petco or Petsmart and get something that is safe to use on your pet.
It's boric acid that's used to kill roaches, not borax. It stated above that borax is an old time laundry detergent.
Borax is not poisonous it is used to wash clothes with boric acid U mean is used for roaches I have washed my hair with borax! I am going to try that solution for this homeless dog I found today! Thanks
That is Boric Acid your speaking of.Borax is laundry and house cleaning soap.
Boric acid is processed borax. It is the same mineral. I think boric acid is a fine powder and borax for laundry is coarser.
