Here's a picture of my sons at a Portland Trailblazers/Seattle Sonics basketball game last weekend. My brother and I took the whole family as a birthday present. They are all big Sonics fans so we had a lot of fun with the rivalry.
If you are planning to go to any sports venue as a group, contact the group sales office to see about discounted tickets or other special deals. By buying 10 tickets together, we got visors, food vouchers, birthday wishes on the big screen, and good seats for a cheaper price than buying individual tickets. We probably saved over $100.00 on the seats alone, not even including the extras. It would be easy to band together with another family or two. Also, when you ask for the tickets, try to get two rows of 5 instead of one long row of 10. It makes everyone feel closer together.
By the way, Seattle won! We had a great time anyhow.
